These are really great ideas, Paul. The idea of making carbon removal part of a community identity for a creator is compelling. The key here would be a platform play that would enable creators to easily buy high quality removals (not offsets) as part of their subscription. You could actually combine multiple of these ideas (ads, streaming, patreon, stable coin, gaming) into a mutli-channel platform.

Yes I think all of those are viable! And the infrastructure to support all that is nearly there. I might write about that next—what it would take to make any of these possible, and which companies already provide these services.

Hey Paul, I'm still thinking about this. Would it be ok with you if I wrote about it with reference back to your post?

Love the vision here. As a project developer, I’m curious how these embedded carbon ideas scale beyond niche markets. Many feel closer to micro-offsets than products with real utility. Do you see any more paths where CO₂ becomes a core input (like in fuels, concrete, or chemicals) rather than an add-on? Would love to explore ideas for scaling those kinds of products

So many words for “take a small fraction of the profit of traditional business models and put it towards carbon removal”…if this is “thought leadership”, we are cooked.
